Woman Who Gave Birth to Nonuplets Shares Heartwarming Photos of Babies on First Birthday: “In Perfect Health”

  • The past year has been a roller coaster for 27-year-old Halima Cisse who gave birth to nine children at the same time on May 4, 2021
  • Halima and her husband celebrated the first birthday of the little ones who also broke the Guinness World Record for the most children delivered in a single birth to survive
  • The nonuplets’ father Kader Arby, 36, noted it had not been easy raising all nine children but he was nonetheless in joy because they are all in perfect health

A Malian woman who gave birth to nine children at the same time in 2021 has released lovely photos of the babies as they clock one year.

In heartwarming pictures shared on their Instagram page, the mother of now 10 children shared lovely pictures of the five girls and four boys while marking their first birthday in pomp and colour.

The nine babies and their mum are still in a Morocco clinic a year since birth where nurses have been helping the mother take care of the little ones.

The nine babies’ favourite cartoon is Baby Shark and that is how the parents have been able to keep the peace among them.

The Malian state has put everything in place for the care and treatment of the nine babies and their mother. It’s not at all easy, but it’s beautiful and something that is comforting,” the father said.

“All of them are getting on very well, and are a joy to look after. They are getting stronger every day and it may well be they are allowed to leave full-time medical care soon so that we can take them home,” she said.

The woman and her husband said though their children are a joy to look after, they were also figuring out ways to adjust their lives so that they could accommodate their 10 children once the nonuplets get home.
