A jilted lover accused of pouring a saucepan of hot beans on his wife’s buttocks has finally been charged with domestic violence and attempted murder.
Waligo Richard attacked his wife of five children identified as Namwase Easter with boiling beans at the couple’s residence in Nsambya – Kimwanyi Zone, Makindye Division.
Waligo, a landlord and resident of Lost City Nsambya, inflicted serious burn injuries on Namwase on April 7,2022, at 11:00 am after he found her playing Ludo in the company of other male neighbours.
