A baby girl was born in Australia with a rare genetic condition that even shocked the doctors. But all is well for Ayla Summer Mucha as she has the cutest smile to charm people. Ayla was born with a rare condition known as bilateral macrostomia. It is an ultra-rare condition where the corners of the mouth do not fuse together properly while in the womb. Ayla has now become a TikTok sensation for her condition because netizens simply can’t stop loving her adorable smile.

Ayla was born to Cristina Vercher and Blaize Mucha in South Australia. But after her birth, her parents were surprised at her rare condition. According to the New York Post, a study published in Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal in 2007 noted just 14 cases of this disease. It is so rare that the doctors at the hospital where Ayla was born treated it as the first case.

“This made the experience all the more worrying as it took several hours for a doctor to give us an answer. With this came more difficulties, as the hospital had little knowledge or support for such a rare condition. All I could think about as a mother was where I went wrong, especially when I had been so pedantic throughout my entire pregnancy,” Vercher told the New York Post.

Thankfully, Ayla is all hale and hearty and her smile has made her a TikTok star! Although her parents are in constant touch with the doctors about her condition, Ayla has already won hearts with her sweet smile.
